Born into the numbers

Lim Chee Keong — or "Uncle Keong" as most people call him — grew up in Ipoh, Perak, the heart of Chinese Malaysian culture and one of the country's most passionate 4D communities. From as early as he can remember, every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday meant one thing in the Lim household: gathering around the newspaper after 7 PM to check the results. His father kept a handwritten ledger going back decades, tracking every draw with the seriousness of a man who believed the numbers told a story — you just had to learn to read it.

Uncle Keong spent over 30 years working as an accountant in Ipoh before retiring in 2021. Throughout his career, numbers were never just work — they were a way of life. He maintained his own 4D records in exercise books all through the 1990s, then in Excel sheets through the 2000s, quietly building what became one of the most detailed private archives of Malaysian 4D draw history around.

Built out of frustration, refined through data

After retiring, Uncle Keong finally had the time to do what he had always wanted — build a proper platform around all that data he had collected. He noticed that most Malaysian 4D sites were cluttered, slow, or buried under advertisements. His children had to teach him WordPress. His grandchildren ended up teaching him how to use an API. By mid-2024, check-4d.com was live.

The platform covers all six major Malaysian 4D operators — Magnum 4D, Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai, Sabah 88, Cashsweep, and Sandakan — with results updated in real time on every draw day at 7:00 PM MYT. Alongside live results, Check-4D provides historical statistics, frequency analysis, draw date schedules, and educational guides to help players understand how the system actually works.

"I'm not promising anybody sure win. No such thing," Uncle Keong says with a laugh. "But if you want to play, at least play smart. Know your numbers, know your history. That's all this site is for."
